Joanna Warmath-Pascoe

Joanna Warmath-Pascoe began her teaching career at the young age of 16, instructing younger students in ballet, tap, jazz, and partnering. While completing her BA in Music Education and studying opera at Azusa Pacific University, Ms. Pascoe began teaching private music lessons on piano and voice.

After graduating magna cum laude and later obtaining her teaching credential, Ms. Pascoe relocated to Santa Barbara to begin seven years of teaching for the Santa Barbara Unified School District. During her tenure, Ms.Pascoe served as an elementary music teacher for TK-6th grade students, team lead of the enrichment educators, director of BRAVO! (an after-school instrumental program), and teacher representative for the board of the Santa Barbara Education Foundation. Most importantly, Ms. Pascoe's time in Santa Barbara revealed a newfound joy - instructing beginning string students.

Ms. Pascoe is thrilled to partner with Elemental Music and to continue a shared philosophy of providing equal-access music education to students of diverse and enriching backgrounds.
