program Description

Bergmann Project

Elemental Music is delighted to be working with the Santa Monica Education Foundation to provide free private lessons for qualified students selected to participate by the SMMUSD. These lessons are partially funded by the Peggy Bergmann Arts Endowment Fund, as well as other foundations and individuals, and provide personalized instruction and support to students who are ambitious, engaged, and who love music.

We are proudly working with approximately 75 students ranging from 4th through 12th grades by offering weekly private lessons throughout the school year, including through the summer months. Students also have performance opportunities and special invitations for great performances in the area.

Please email Program Director Emily Senchuk for more information.

“Because of this amazing opportunity, I am able to perform much better on my auditions and playing tests. I am able to face these challenges in my musical career with much more confidence than I had when I was self-studying my music.”
