Bishop plaza

Bishop Plaza is a teaching fellow at Elemental Music and works with their Elemental Band program. He is currently completing his Music Education Bachelor of Arts at UCLA under the tutelage of Lily Chen-Hafteck and studies tuba under Aubrey Foard.

Bishop gained his musical proficiency from his fruitful time as principal tubist with the Pacific Symphony Youth Wind Ensemble. From there he auditioned and placed into the SCSBOA All-Southern and CBDA All-State honor bands and orchestras. He was also nominated as an OC Artist of the Year. As an aspiring music educator, Bishop also coaches tuba, trombone, and baritone at Tesoro High School, Riverside Polytechnic High School, University High School, and Rancho San Joaquin Middle School.
