Polly Hall
Polly Hall is the Early Childhood Music Director at Elemental Music. A GRAMMY-nominated producer/artist and Emmy-nominated songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Polly is best known for her award-winning children's music project, Andrew & Polly, celebrated across platforms for its catchy, humorous and insightful songs for families and children's television. Polly began Suzuki violin at age 3 and today enjoys playing "interesting" notes in several local bands, including Jane Fondas, Havin' Fun and S'MOTHER.
Polly has a decade of experience teaching music and the expressive arts to children and families, working in preschools, family music classes, and in fieldwork through her interactive project, Ear Snacks Podcast for Kids. She is a founding member and lifetime board member of Kids Listen, a non-profit dedicated to high-quality audio content for children. Polly joins Elemental from Growing Place in Santa Monica, where she worked as Atelierista, collaborating with children, teachers and administrators on the institution's arts offering and staff professional development.
She holds a Master of Arts in Computer Music & Multimedia from Brown University, a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Literature & Composition and English from Amherst College, and a Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Santa Monica College.
Polly lives in Santa Monica with her three awesome kids. When she's not making music, you can find her gardening, hiking or considering soup.
